The Internet of Things (IoT) landscape is evolving rapidly so it’s critical to stay on top of the trends as you make decisions around your deployment. There are competing standards in different states of maturity and adoption that impact specific IoT functions in your solution and potentially impact adjacent areas of functionality. If one piece of the solution is no longer interoperable with the balance of the solution problems will arise including latency, lost data and the potential to miss revenue goals or experience higher costs than anticipated.
