PNI Sensor supplies a wide range of sensors, including this parking PlacePod IoT sensor designed to be embedded in the street. It uses a highly accurate magnetic sensing system and LoRaWAN (see “LoRa Rolls Into Philly”) for wireless connectivity. The system, contained in a compact, rugged polycarbonate housing, is designed for long-term operation.
