This coming Sunday (25th Nov) is the second annual Museum Shop Sunday, where we are encouraged to shop in a museum shop.
Their gift shops are an important revenue stream for museums, and this Sunday many of them will also be laying on discounts and special events to promote the opening of wallets.
Whether it’s Dam Raider gin (yes, really), branded cups, teatowels, or books a plenty, there should be something available.
Or you could buy a membership pack for the museum as a present.
The London museums taking part are as follows:
- British Library
- British Museum
- The Charterhouse
- Cutty Sark
